    Services

    1. All patrons seeking assistance will be treated equally, with respect and courtesy. Efforts will be made to provide information in an accessible manner as requested.
    2. All FFPLTC Staff, excluding students, are able to provide reference and information services
    3. Patron confidentiality will be respected at all times.
    4. Patrons initiating enquiries by telephone will receive full FFPLTC Staff attention.

Privacy

    Purpose

    The Privacy Policy ensures that members of the public have access to information about the operations of the FFPLTC, and to their own Personal Information held by the FFPLTC, in accordance with the access provisions of MFIPPA.

Computer and Internet Use

    Purpose

    The FFPLTC provides computers for use by the public, offering access to a variety of electronic resources, the Internet, e-mail, and software for informational, educational and recreational purposes.

    The FFPLTC provides space for patrons to use their own personal electronic devices as well as Wi-Fi for that same purpose.

    The use of FFPLTC computers is a privilege. Inappropriate use will result in suspension of all FFPLTC privileges.

Collection Development

    Purpose

    The FFPLTC's collections support the FFPLTC’s mission to stimulate imagination and inquiry, through literature and reference, for culture and commerce.

    This policy sets out the parameters for the development of the FFPLTC's collections, and decisions on the selection of materials. It is the basis for collection evaluation, planning and budgeting.
