Trunk or Treat is an annual event hosted in the FFPLTC parking lot on Halloween. Individuals, businesses, and organizations are invited to decorate a vehicle or 'Trunk' and hand out treats, so that children can go trick-or-treating in a fun and safe environment.

Individuals, businesses, and organizations are invited to decorate a vehicle or 'Trunk' and hand out treats, so that children can go trick-or-treating in a fun and safe environment. Other fun events are held inside the library, and prizes are awarded to Trunks for categories such as Most Original or Spookiest.
Trunk or Treat was created as part of Project Safe Halloween in partnership with the Rainy River District Community Policing Committee and has been running since 2014.
