    Purpose

    In order to fulfill its mandate under the Public Libraries Act s20(a), "A board shall seek to provide, in co-operation with other boards, a comprehensive and efficient public library service that reflects the community's unique needs", the FFPL Board shall make certain that an effective planning process is in place for the FFPLTC.

CEO Performance Appraisal

    Purpose

    The performance appraisal of the CEO shall be conducted on an annual basis. This process facilitates bilateral communication between the FFPL Board and the CEO, and ensures that the FFPL Board’s priorities are being achieved. It ensures continued development of the CEO to more effectively perform his or her role. It is tied to strategic planning, job description, annual work plans and FFPL Board objectives.
