Learn Your Camera (1:00 PM to 2:00 PM)

This introductory session is for those with point and shoot digital cameras. Learn the functions of your camera and what they are used for. Bring your camera and come out to this one-hour introductory session to further develop your photography knowledge.

Photography: The Basics (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM)

This introductory photography session is geared toward DSLR users. Learn how the shutter and aperture are used in the art of photography. The best way to learn is to experience, bring your camera and experiment with the settings as we move along.

Questions (3:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

Following the two sessions, Corey Lablans will be available to answer questions and discuss photography. Bring your camera if you have any questions.

Quick Bio

Corey Lablans graduated with a Photojournalism diploma from Loyalist College in 2009. Having worked for a camera store for 12 years, he has a vast knowledge of different cameras and settings. His portfolio includes working for a variety of newspapers, wedding, sports and outdoor photography. Photography is a passion of his and he continues to actively be involved in the photography world. Right now, he enjoys trying to capture the beauty of the outdoors for the Weather Network.
